About the role

P&G is seeking ambitious and driven penultimate-year undergraduate students to join the RSA P&G Summer Internship 2027 program in Johannesburg. This flagship internship offers a unique opportunity to work with one of the world’s most recognized companies, contribute to a live business project, and gain hands-on experience across a range of functions. The internship is designed for students who are curious, innovative, collaborative, and eager to grow as future leaders. Interns will work in P&G’s Sandton, Johannesburg office during the summer vacation period from 4 January 2027 to 12 February 2027. Internship Project Ownership *Own, lead, and deliver an individual business project during the internship period. *Apply creativity, innovation, teamwork, and leadership to solve real business challenges. *Contribute to business outcomes through practical recommendations and data-driven insights. Cross-Functional Exposure *Gain exposure across departments such as Brand Management, IT, Customer Business *Development, Supply Chain Operations, Finance & Accounting, Analytics & Insights, Human *Resources, Personal Health Care, and Marketing Strategy & Planning. *Collaborate with teams from different backgrounds, nationalities, and markets. *Support business priorities through meaningful project work and day-to-day engagement. Learning & Development *Receive continuous coaching and mentorship throughout the internship. *Build marketing knowledge, management abilities, and professional confidence. *Work in a dynamic, respectful, and supportive environment that encourages agility and work/life balance. Leadership & Presentation *Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and ownership in all assigned work. *Present project outcomes and recommendations to P&G senior executives during final presentations. *Show readiness to grow as a future leader through strong performance and accountability.

Requirements

  • Current university student in penultimate year of study.
  • Expected graduation from December 2027 onwards.
  • Experience & Attributes
  • Essential (Mandatory):
  • Six (6) years of proven experience in a QA/QC role within at least two of the three AIP disciplines: Scaffolding, Insulation, and Protective Coatings.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and reporting systems.
  • Preferred (Advantageous):
  • Strong working knowledge of Sasol’s Work Management Process or similar petrochemical maintenance systems.
  • Proven ability to facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA processes.
  • Strong teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset, especially when facing issues or setbacks.
  • Experience working with groups through formal or informal leadership roles such as student organizations, varsity, or thesis projects.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with people from different levels, backgrounds, and experiences.
  • Strong ability to derive insights from data and support business or organizational decisions.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Initiative, flexibility, and resilience in delivering strong results.
