The successful candidate will represent Postbank in the National Payment System (NPS) and PASA Low-Value Electronic Payment forums, ensuring compliance with payment regulations, governance, reporting, and operational support for EFT-related services. This role is ideal for professionals interested in banking operations, payments systems, electronic funds transfer (EFT), financial compliance, and payment governance. Key Responsibilities 1. Industry Representation & Stakeholder Engagement •Represent Postbank in national payment industry forums and committees. •Participate in workshops, meetings, and regulatory discussions. •Communicate Postbank’s position on payment-related matters. 2. Regulatory Compliance & Governance •Monitor developments in payment regulations and banking standards. •Ensure compliance with National •Payment System (NPS) requirements. •Support internal teams with payment governance and compliance guidance. 3. Reporting & Documentation •Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc operational reports. •Maintain incident trackers, SOPs, bilateral agreements, and governance documentation. •Ensure accurate and audit-ready payment records. 4. Process Improvement & Standardisation •Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for •EFT and low-value payment processes. •Support operational efficiency and process consistency. 5. Incident Management & Testing •Coordinate industry testing activities. •Investigate and resolve EFT-related incidents. •Perform root cause analysis and communicate resolutions to stakeholders. 6. Cross-Functional Support •Collaborate with other departments where Payments & Interbank activities are impacted. •Support operational coordination and team initiatives.
