Investec is hiring an Automation Tester (QA Engineer) to join its Digital Onboarding team. This role focuses on driving quality across digital platforms by leveraging automation, AI, and modern testing practices. You’ll work in a fast-paced Agile environment, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle and improving testing efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain automated test frameworks (web & API) Perform functional and REST API testing Integrate tests into Azure CI/CD pipelines Maintain regression test suites Identify risks and improve test coverage Use AI tools to enhance testing processes Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams

Requirements

  • Technical Skills:
  • 2–3 years experience in automation testing
  • C# programming
  • Playwright, Selenium WebDriver
  • RestSharp, SpecFlow (Reqnroll)
  • REST API testing
  • Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
  • Additional Skills:
  • Experience with AI tools in testing (advantage)
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio / VS Code / Copilot
  • Strong understanding of automation frameworks
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Innovative mindset and ownership of quality
