Executive Assistant / Marketing & Business Development Coordinator
About the role
Werkie is recruiting for a Remote Executive Assistant / Marketing & Business Development Coordinator on behalf of a U.S.-based construction cost management and project management firm. The successful candidate will support the company’s Principal by coordinating marketing campaigns, business development activities, and executive administration while working remotely from South Africa. This role involves working 40 hours per week with some overlap with U.S. Eastern Standard Time. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Marketing •Prepare and submit marketing proposals and presentations •Coordinate outreach campaigns with potential clients •Maintain CRM systems and business development trackers •Identify leads and potential business opportunities Marketing & Communications •Create and update marketing materials •Manage social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X) •Design visual content using Adobe •Creative Suite or Canva •Maintain website content and track engagement metrics Executive Support •Organise meetings via Teams, Zoom or Skype •Prepare agendas, meeting notes and follow-ups •Track project files, deadlines and deliverables •Manage confidential information professionally
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Business Administration
- Marketing
- Communications
- Or related field
- 2–5 years experience as:
- Executive Assistant
- Marketing Coordinator
- Business Development Assistant
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp)
- Remote collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, SharePoint)
