RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: - 5 years experience - Experience in driving trucks/heavy vehicles MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: - Valid driver's license - Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS: - Friendly/hardworking - Must be willing to work overtime - Ability to work under pressure - Honest and responsible - Reliable and punctual TECHNICAL SKILLS: - Safe driving skills - Time management - Problem-solving ability - Must be willing to work in a team - Computer Literate JOB PURPOSE: The Driver is responsible for transporting steel and coils efficiently, and on time, while complying with company policies and road regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip inspections) Load and offload goods correctly and safely Ensure timely delivery of goods Maintain accurate trip records (logbook / trip sheets) Report any vehicle faults or incidents immediately Comply with all traffic laws and company procedures Safeguard the vehicle and transported goods Communicate effectively with the dispatcher or supervisor
