RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years’ experience in warehouse environment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Matric or equivalent qualification PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Matric or equivalent qualification BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS : Ability to work unsupervised High energy and self-motivated Ability to handle pressure Ability to pay attention to detail Service orientated attitude Organized Understands the urgency of deadlines Conscientious and Reliable Dedicated, willing to grow and adapt to change Knowledge of steel TECHNICAL SKILLS: Customer service Numerical Ability Ability to read and write in English Communication skills Product Knowledge PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE POSITION: To assist in general warehouse duties. To make sure that all stickers are pulled with correct quantities and look after the beams area in terms of housekeeping. Make sure that the stock is protected from rain by covering with tarpaulins at all times. Also help in loading and offloading of trucks. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Maintain allocated section of the warehouse to the company required standard and ensure a high quality of workmanship at all levels Comply with the Occupational, Health and Safety Act and inform the maintenance supervisor when the ability to fulfill the above obligations is endangered.
