Admin: Underwriting and Claims
About the role
VKB Group is looking for an Admin: Underwriting and Claims to join their team in Bethlehem. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and claims administration for Personal, Commercial, and Agricultural Short-Term Insurance products while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Insurance Administration Process underwriting and claims instructions Ensure all instructions are processed and approved before month-end Monitor and update relevant information related to insurance policies Policy Management Manage policy renewals accurately and on time Maintain insurance records and documentation Customer Support Resolve customer queries and complaints in accordance with FAIS regulations Build strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and stakeholders Compliance Complete product-specific training Maintain required CPD points annually
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Short-Term Insurance qualification:
- NQF Level 4 OR
- Higher Certificate NQF Level 5
- Certification
- RE5 (Regulatory Examination for Representatives)
- Experience
- Previous insurance industry experience will be advantageous
